Memory Archive
The Memory Archive is a collection of memories illustrated by moving drawings. Memory Archive is an ongoing project which will be expanded as more memories are collected. By collecting and animating memories which I hope to preserve these important social histories.
The film below is a childhood memory of growing up in Weymouth, a place that has not been physically returned to for over 50 years but has been revisited frequently through shared stories and memories.. The film focuses upon the wreck of the Hood, which was sunk in Portland Harbour on 4th November 1914 to offer protection from U-boats and provides a unique snapshot of life in the years following world war II.
